Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus

"Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus" is an Advent hymn, written in 1745 by Charles Wesley. The tune that I use, and is usually heard with it, was written 85 years later - in 1830, by Rowland H. Prichard.
I used an oboe keyboard sample for the instrumental chorus halfway through.
"I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. Then to Him was given Dominion and Glory and a Kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His Dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away,
and His Kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed." ~ Daniel 7:13-14
"My eyes have seen Your Salvation which You have prepared before the face of all peoples - a Light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the Glory of Your people Israel." ~ Luke 2:30-32
"Even so, come, Lord Jesus!" ~ Revelation 22:20

History

Born into a family of Gospel singers & musicians in South Bend, Indiana, David began singing & playing the piano as a small child.
In the 1970's, his musical style was shaped by the acoustic rock artists of the time - and in the 1980's David played the local nightclub circuit as keyboardist/singer with the band Justus.
But God comes in places unlooked for - unexpectedly.
After committing himself to the work of the Gospel, he served for three years as Praise & Worship Leader at a local church.
Now, David & his wife Debbie have committed themselves to sharing the Gospel of the life changing Power & Love of Jesus Christ, through this music ministry, based in Elkhart, Indiana.
