Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming

"Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" ("A rose has sprung up"), most commonly translated to English as "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming" or "A Spotless Rose", is a Christmas carol and Marian Hymn of German origin. The text is thought to be penned by an anonymous author, and the piece first appeared in print in the late 16th century.
"He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness - and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.
He is despised and rejected by men - a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid, as it were, our faces from Him.
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows - yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities - the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53:2-5

History

Born into a family of Gospel singers & musicians in South Bend, Indiana, David began singing & playing the piano as a small child.
In the 1970's, his musical style was shaped by the acoustic rock artists of the time - and in the 1980's David played the local nightclub circuit as keyboardist/singer with the band Justus.
But God comes in places unlooked for - unexpectedly.
After committing himself to the work of the Gospel, he served for three years as Praise & Worship Leader at a local church.
Now, David & his wife Debbie have committed themselves to sharing the Gospel of the life changing Power & Love of Jesus Christ, through this music ministry, based in Elkhart, Indiana.
