The First Noel

"The First Noel" is a traditional English carol, possibly dating from as early as the 13th Century. This combination of tune and lyrics first appeared in "Christmas Carols, Ancient and Modern", by William Sandys, in 1833.
"When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, 'Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.'
They hurried to the village and found Mary and Joseph - and there was the Baby, lying in the manger. After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this Child. All who heard the shepherds' story were astonished - but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often.
The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them." ~ Luke 2:15-20

History

Born into a family of Gospel singers & musicians in South Bend, Indiana, David began singing & playing the piano as a small child.
In the 1970's, his musical style was shaped by the acoustic rock artists of the time - and in the 1980's David played the local nightclub circuit as keyboardist/singer with the band Justus.
But God comes in places unlooked for - unexpectedly.
After committing himself to the work of the Gospel, he served for three years as Praise & Worship Leader at a local church.
Now, David & his wife Debbie have committed themselves to sharing the Gospel of the life changing Power & Love of Jesus Christ, through this music ministry, based in Elkhart, Indiana.
